Description
Phenolic resins & composites undergo an irreversible chemical reaction when molded. The result is a highly cross-linked polymer with excellent property retention at extreme temperatures. Typical material properties include:
-Tg over 450°F
-Self ignition temperature of 1112°F
-Highly resistant to glycol, petrochemicals, hydrocarbons, solvents, and some acid/bases.
-Inert to fungus growth

-Flexural Strength: 31,000 PSI
-Flexural Modulus: 2.6 MPSI
-Tensile Strength: 6,500-19,000 PSI
